The Last Boy

So I decided to blog about the latest book I read, The Last Boy by Robert Lieberman. This book, first of all, I couldn't put it down, the story is very moving. Danny or Daniel (as he likes to be called) is the most influential character I have ever read, this is coming from someone who LOVES Holden Caulfield from "The Catcher in the Rye." I wish all of humanity can be more like him. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it! I think of Hendrix, and the world he is going to be brought up in, and it breaks my heart. But ALAS, there is still so much good!! I think we tend to dwell on the bad, not that the media helps any, but there is so much good, and so much we CAN do! Even a simple read of a book to make us more aware of what we are doing to this world to hurt not only eachother and ourselves, but our children. Daniel and Michael will forever be on my mind, even though they are fictional. I urge you to pick up this book, I hope it effects you even half as much as it has affected me. I thought "The Shack", would be a hard book to follow.... boy.... this one is right up there with it. So I type this with a heavy and grateful heart, be aware of what you do, this person has made a difference in my life, thank you Robert Lieberman and your last boy Daniel.
